Michael Wayne Hawkins, 65, was born in Dallas to the late Freda Stapp and Everett Hawkins on February 15, 1952. He entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2017.

Mike earned his bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He always had a life long devotion to the Texas Longhorns. He earned his master's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He worked as a CPA for Texas Utilities for 30 years until his retirement in 2016. Most recently, he worked as an SEC Reporting Specialist. He was always grateful for his friendships with coworkers, especially Les, Greg and Brenda.

Mike was so incredibly loved and will be so very missed by those whose lives he touched with his big, loving and generous heart. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Judy, and his loving son, Chris and his wife Rachel. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn, from Aransas Pass and three special cousins, Lynne, Mary and Will.

Along with his family, he had such loving relationships with Judy's family. Described as the best son-in-law ever, Mike was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Sam and Mary Satarino. Also preceded in death was a favorite brother-in-law and sister-n-law, Frank and Olga Satarino. He is survived by loving inlaws, Virginia and John Loscerbo, Sam Satarino and Tom and Cheryl Satarino. There was nothing more he loved than family get togethers when he could see his sweet nieces and nephews and extended family. Uncle Mike's memories will be cherished by Gianna, Maria, Anthony, Alicia, Shannon and Kirsten, and their sweet families, just as he cherished them.

His sweet pups, Bosco, Brawndo and Emmie will miss Mike so, so much. They were his family, too. His big heart had so much room for love. Mike will be forever missed by so many.

In Mike's honor, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
