Jack Warner Mackey, 93, was born in Dallas, Texas on November 5, 1923 to Taylor Mackey and Mary (Lamb) Mackey. He entered into rest on August 7, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Jack was a veteran of WWII. He enjoyed a lengthy career as a casualty insurance underwriter. Jack and his family were devoted parishioners at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for many years.

He is survived by his two children, Nancy and Robert Mackey, his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Barbara Cleaveland, and his furry companion, Gidget. He joins his wife, Laura Cleaveland...

He is survived by his two children, Nancy and Robert Mackey, his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Barbara Cleaveland, and his furry companion, Gidget. He joins his wife, Laura Cleaveland Mackey; son, Stephen Mackey and sister, Mary Jane P'Simer to be with our Lord and Savior.

The Mackey Family invites you to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Jack. Services will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas, Texas. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

The Mackey Family sends a heartfelt acknowledgement for the loving support at Sage Oak Assisted Living, and his caring nurse and friend, Agatha from Credence Home Care. Jack also received wonderful care from his nurse, Norma Gonzales with Custom Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
