Frances Lambeth, 92, died peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at her home. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 65 years, Bill, on November 9, 2017, and is survived by her children, Maryann Scudder, Bill Lambeth Jr. and his wife, Fran, Patty Reagan, Ellen Lambeth, Emily Lambeth & her life partner, Jackie Bien, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren & many grand-dogs.

She and Bill both attended St. Edwards grade school together in Dallas, but it was not until they were in their late 20's that they actually met. A member of "The Cathedral Club", Frances was making random phone calls to get new members to come bowl with them. That was the beginning of a life-long love affair. They married on November 15, 1952.

A devoted wife and mother, Frances had a strong unshakeable faith in God and family. She attended the University of Texas where she was a member of the Neuman Hall Catholic organization. She and Bill were members of St. Thomas Aquinas parish where they raised their family. She was a member of Our Lady's Altar Society and actively participated with her prayer group. Frances was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She devoted her life to raising five children and volunteered for school activities such as field trips, room mother, Girl Scout Leader, Den Mother and Cookie Chairman. She was a disciplinarian who often waited up at night praying the rosary until the kids came in from late night dates or school functions. She was known to turn the front porch light on and off when dates took too long saying "good bye" on the front porch. Frances also dabbled in the residential real estate business for several years. She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, dancing and social activities. Her faith in God and the Blessed Virgin Mary were her top priorities. In her late Alzheimer's stages, she could easily recite the Hail Mary and Our Father when memory failed everywhere else.

Frances and Bill were members of the International Order of Alhambra. They were life-time members of Knights of Columbus, Council 799, where Frances enjoyed attending every Friday Lenten fish fry orchestrated by Bill.

The family would like to thank Penny Abernathy for her devotion, companionship and loving care to Frances and "Mr. Bill", as she lovingly referred to him. We would also like to thank Faith Hospice for their care throughout the past few years.
