Eleodora Irene Deroncelé Wilson left us on May 14, 2017, with her family by her side at The Village at Richardson in Richardson Texas.

Eleodora Irene Deroncelé Wilson was the youngest of three daughters born to José Enrique Deroncelé and Maria Fuentes in Santiago de Cuba in Cuba on July 3, 1916. Her father died before she was born, her mother Maria raised 3 girls with the loving help of her father-in-law, Henri Deroncelé. Eleodora Irene Deroncelé Wilson was the youngest of three daughters born to José Enrique Deroncelé and Maria Fuentes in Santiago de Cuba in Cuba on July 3, 1916. Her father died before she was born, her mother Maria raised 3 girls with the loving help of her father-in-law, Henri Deroncelé. Henri was a French veteran stayed after the Cuban revolution and became a newspaper printer to support his family. Dora was educated in a convent which was the only catholic school for girls in Cuba. She later continued her education and became a registered nurse. After a few years she moved to Havana, Cuba for a nursing assignment to help her family financially. She would travel home on the weekends whenever possible to care for her mother who became bedridden. While in Havana, she obtained a position working for the Cuban consulate as a private nurse for his wife. When the consulate's commission was over, he asked for Dora to come with him to Chicago, IL and continue care for his wife. Dora receive permission from President Bautista of Cuba to leave Cuba on a work Visa. She traveled back and forth to Cuba whenever possible to care for her mother.

Dora arrived in the United States 1948, she attended school to learn English for use in her nursing occupation. In 1950 met Conrado Wilson through a Cuban friend, who was a singer. Conrado was a music teacher who occasional played with the band on his free time. In 1953 Dora and Conrado married and 1954 Dora gave birth to a set of twins, Alitta Emela and Anita Maria Wilson. Anita M Wilson birth two daughters Monique and Xenia. Alitta birthed three sons Aubrey, Damon and Tarique.

Dora is survived by her daughter Anita Maria Wilson, and her grandchildren, Monique YeeFoon, Aubrey Wilson, Damon Wilson and Tarique Wilson along with her great grandchildren Mylinn YeeFoon and Celestina Wilson. She preceded in death by her daughter Alitta Wilson March 2012, and granddaughter Xenia V Wilson. March 2006.

Dora was a very quiet and private person from her youth till her passing. She will be missed but by no means forgotten. Dora made many profound impact on those she encountered and will be dearly missed.
